Welcome

Tucked away in the foothills of the Himalayas with panoramic views across the valleys and north towards the high mountains, the village of Subathu is home to Florence Convent School. The village was a hill station during the British Raj, now it hosts a Ghurka training camp but otherwise it’s a quiet, rural community. Until a few years ago, Subathu desperately needed a good school that could give its children a bright future.

Then, in 2004, Florence Convent School was opened by a local family in response to this need.

Now, THEY need US...

Victims of their own success, the school is struggling to keep up with demand for places and its resources are severely stretched.
